Market
The capital markets are still quite choppy, both for venture in general as well as for space in particular. With the collapse of Virgin Orbit, dramatically lower share prices for most of the space SPACs from the last couple of years and layoffs/down rounds for most private companies it looks like 2023 will be a tough year.
That said, there has been a fair bit of renewed public interest in asteroid missions, asteroid mining (this one mentions K+ as well) and massive impact concepts like space-based solar power. That momentum as well as the general interest in space does point to the right inflection point.
We remain focused on building and prefer to talk about results instead of plans, but will also start to gradually share more of our progress publicly. We'll start with expanding this blog in terms of content, both to start engaging with partners and possible customers as well as to jumpstart the development of an ecosystem.
